sutton families of the wirral hundred, cheshire, england

Welcome to my small contribution to the world of family history research

The primary purpose of this site is to promote and extend my own research into the Sutton families that lived and worked in the many villages that go to make up the Wirral Hundred.

This project has progressed from being a simple quest to discover my own antecedence to a One - Name study in miniature. Because of time constrains, I decided to concentrate on just one line of investigation, the relationships between the various Sutton families, in an effort to discover who decided to adopt the name and the reason for that decision.

After 10 years of research, new information is becoming progressively more and more difficult to discover so I have decided to publish some of the facts I have gathered in the hope that it will open some new lines of investigation.

Connections

Are you distantly related to me?  If so please take a moment to drop me a line using my secure contact form. Perhaps you are connected to one of the many daughters who married in to local families.  I am also desperate for photographs of anyone or any place directly connected to my family.
If there is sufficient interest I will publish a known connections page so links with other distant family members can be made.
Honestly I really would like to know that distant relatives are out there and I would definitely like to hear YOUR story.

Regards

Andy
