William Sutton was born 1796 in Wallasey and was baptised on the 16th August 1796 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey.
He married Anne Stanley, daughter of Gerard Stanley and Mary Meddowcroft.
William was a farmer, but was called a yeoman at death. He died in Liscard, Wirral and was buried on the 24th August 1828 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey. After William's death, Anne married William Peers and they continued to live in Liscard.
In 1841, Anne,widow of William Peer's, was living with her two children. Anne died much later in Liscard and was buried on the 27th March, 1867 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey.

- Stanley Sutton, b. 1823, Liscard; bapt. 21 April 1823, St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey; d. 1876 Liscard
- Mary Stanley Sutton, b. 1827, Liscard; bapt. 13 February 1827, St. Hilary Parish, Church Wallasey: d 7 March 1895 in Liscard.
