William Sutton of Bidston was born 1820 in Bidston his christeneing place on 2 August 1820 at St Peters Church, Liverpool. William died 3 August 1886, being buried in St Oswalds Parish Church Bidston.

The 1841 census shows that he is living with his parents at Reeds Farm, he continued to live on and list as resident in 1851.

William married Jane Hardman 1854 the daughter of John Hardman and Ellen Lee. She was born 1828 in Meolse, and died 23 Jan 1903 in bur Bidston Parish Church.

  • James, b. 1859, Bidston; d. 14 May 1887, bur Bidston Parish Church. On the 1881 census he is listed as handicapped / lunatic.
  • Marie, b. 1861, Bidston.
  • Ellen, b. 1867, Bidston.
  • Joseph b. 1868, Bidston, he married Jane and she was born 1869 in Chester.
